Wolvende: scaling a premium ecommerce experience with Magento Hyvä Theme

British company Wolvende sells premium office products and desk accessories for workplaces, home offices, and gaming setups. They sell to the UK through their online store and via Amazon to the UK and USA.

Wolvende launched in 2022 and quickly identified a growing demand for their premium felt desk mat among customers looking to create a comfortable and luxurious desk experience. 

However, they faced limitations in terms of scalability on Shopify, their existing ecommerce platform.

Their primary objectives were to:

  1. Move to a future-proof ecommerce platform
  2. Expand their business without increasing their workforce
  3. Drive sales through their ecommerce store
  4. Boost sales on Amazon

Wolvende worked with ecommerce agency Fluid Commerce to achieve these objectives. 

Developing the Hyvä Magento website

The new site was built quickly and was integrated with key technologies, including Mollie for payments, Klaviyo for email automation and Reviews.io.

Looking to the future

The migration of Wolvende from Shopify to Magento on a Hyvä frontend has significantly enhanced the company’s performance. The website now has a page load speed of just 0.77 seconds and boasts an impressive Lighthouse Score of 92/100 on desktop..

From the initial click to purchase, order confirmation to fulfilment, the customer journey on Wolvende is now seamless and efficient.
