On a recent trip to teach a VM training workshop in Manchester, I visited The Avenue in Spinningfields… an outdoor mall area with a mix of entertainment, luxury retail, bars and restaurants. Located within a modern business district, distinct in its character of glass and steel with wide promenades, the streets come alive at night all lit up taking on an extra dimension with landscaped gardens and large scale artwork illuminating the space. The open plan environment and curated selection of brands and independents encourages an enjoyable and relaxed experience, day or night.
