Home & Gift: The Must-Visit Summer Buying Festival is back bigger and better!

Having run since 1960, the retail community’s favourite summer sourcing opportunity is back, and set to be the biggest and best edition in years. Home & Gift returns to the Harrogate Convention Centre and the grounds of the DoubleTree By Hilton on the 21-24 July this summer, taking over Harrogate for 4 days of sourcing, networking and inspiration.

This year, visitors will be treated to a much-expanded floorplan, which holds an additional 10% more exhibitors than in 2023, over 15% of which are exclusive to the show, meaning buyers won’t see them anywhere else this season! Those seeking newness are also in for a treat, as it can be found in every corner, with 32% of the exhibiting brands making their Home & Gift debut!

Home & Gift is always unmissable, being the first major chance for retailers to start sourcing in advance of the crucial Christmas season. With over 500 brands and thousands of new product launches from across the entire lifestyle spectrum, it remains the perfect opportunity for buyers to find their next best-sellers across the 3 design points and 4 halls of the HCC. From contemporary gifts to fashion accessories, pet products to home fragrances – retailers will be able to source it all from show favourites including Alice Wheeler, Bomb Cosmetics, Caroline Gardner, D&X, Designworks Ink, Enesco, Flick Fashions, Forever England, Giftware Trading Co, Hot Tomato, Joe Davies, Kikkerland, Lagoon Group, Langs, London Ornaments, Miss Shorthair, Miss Sparrow, Ohh Deer, PoM, Powell-Craft, Roka London, St Eval Candle Company, Stoneglow Candles, Talking Tables, and The Art File, while also exploring the ranges from newcomers including Ampersand Fragrances, Asobu, Bothy Threads, Cadenza Italy, Esperance & Co, Floss & Rock, Growbar, GRY & SIF, Jardinopia, Marius Fabre, Philever, Robinvalley, Roomytown, Smart Toys & Games, Soctopus, Sophos, Sthal, The Little Dog Laughed, Tipperary, and Trampoline.

Visitors are set to enjoy a smoother sourcing experience on site this year, with the show layout being re-jigged to accommodate the substantial increase in exhibitor numbers; Design Point 1 will be noticeably bigger, holding an additional 10% more stands to ensure it’s jam-packed full of irresistible brands. This extension also means a new entrance to the hotel grounds and Design Points, with visitors now coming in via the Rose Gate by both the relocated Design Point 4, and Alfresco Bistro – the perfect location to kick back and relax. In another update to make more room for stands, the Indigo Lounge has also relocated from Hall M in the HCC to the Majestic Hotel, and is accessed via DP3.

In addition to exploring the latest products, buyers can be inspired by the Trends feature at the front of Hall M in the HCC, curated by The Better Trends Company, who will be presenting their predictions for the season ahead. Buyers can see these trends brought to life as they uncover key pieces, patterns and colour schemes for the Autumn/Winter season.

Visitors can also take a break from wandering the aisles to network with the retail community at the show’s multiple social events; Sunday evening kicks off with the show’s Sundowner Drinks, where The Giftware Association will be announcing the winner of the People’s Choice category of the Gift of Awards. Monday and Tuesday also see visitors and exhibitors alike enjoy the Drinks on the Lawn outside the Design Points, and Monday is of course the night of the famous Show Party in town.

Home & Gift brings together a truly unique collection of brands, and effortlessly blends business and pleasure – all under the July sun in picturesque Harrogate. As the industry’s favourite summer show, Home & Gift is a must-visit for any retailer looking to get ahead in advance of the crucial Golden Quarter.
