Holland & Barrett has launched its new store, placing sustainability at the forefront of its design. The brand new 2,000 sq ft outlet in Coventry has been created in a way that makes it as eco-friendly and ethical as possible.
Creating a sustainable store
Customers can browse Holland & Barrett’s range of 178 zero-waste, vegan and cruelty-free beauty products in their ‘clean and conscious beauty zone’. Other exciting additions include their devoted honey section which showcases craft honeys and Manuka honey.
The shop’s refit was carried out using 100% recyabable materials, with instore lighting being upgraded to be as efficient as possible, working to reduce carbon emissions and overall energy consumption wherever possible.
It’s not only the physical design that is set to impress, but the knowledge of staff too. Holland & Barrett’s staff are ready to help customers, all equipped with the equivalent of an A-level in nutrition. In-depth training was given during lockdown to ensure staff are able to give first-class recommendations and advice to those that enter the store.
Store Manager, Nicola Owen, said: “As a team, we are incredibly proud of the new store. It offers our customers and wider range of supplements, clean and conscious beauty and sports nutrition.”
