If you want colour, we have it, and in abundance! Miss Milly is a British brand based in Worcestershire and offers a stunning range of costume jewellery and fashion accessories for women. A colour palette is carefully put together for the biannual collection launches for Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter. The inspiration is garnered from the catwalks and also from our understanding of what our customers, and their customers, like and want. It’s not always about the latest trends but also about pieces that ladies enjoy wearing and providing their favourites in new colours.

Reasonably priced and unusual are two phrases we often hear at trade shows from visitors to our stand. Bingo! This is exactly what we look to achieve and we work hard to keep our price points down and the margin up. And it has resulted in a hugely appreciated loyalty to the Miss Milly brand and the building of some great working relationships with retailers throughout the UK.

Alongside the jewellery, we have a great selection of scarves, introduced as a result of customer demand. The scarves have worked really well to help create striking exhibition displays, which have been copied to great effect by some of our customers. So much so, that we started selling the stands! We keep the display stands simple; white and clean, perfect for showing off the jewellery, from silver and rose gold to tropical lime and vibrant pink. And then we either co-ordinate jewellery with a scarf of a similar shade or put together an eye-catching clash, but one that works!

And keep an eye out for our new accessories coming soon…

The nitty gritty

We try to help retailers by offering a low £100 minimum order and no minimum order quantities so you can buy singles if you like, although we’d always advise buying at least two or three per piece to understand fully how it’s going to sell. Customers can order online from our website, over the phone, by email, at trade shows and with our sales agents in some areas. Order turnaround is the same or next working day, and we like to think that whilst human error is inevitable, our service is efficient and friendly, and any issues are dealt with promptly and courteously.

Delivery is £6.95 (£8.95 Highlands and Islands) and by either Royal Mail (for orders under 1kg) or DPD. Delivery is free for orders of £250 and over.

All first orders are pro forma and a credit account for 30 days payment can be applied for on request, which entails a credit check and three trade references (as quite often one or more don’t respond).

The Miss Milly ethos

When we started Miss Milly in 2012, our aim from the start was to create a brand that would fit right in on the high street. Not because we wanted to open our own retail outlets but because we wanted to help retailers easily visualise our brand in their stores. Wholesale, even in the fashion industry, is quite a traditional beast and it’s only relatively recently that it has got on board with modern retail.

Miss Milly was never going to be just another supplier and, from the outset, our website, service and offering was created with this in mind. Brand is so key to business survival now and with so many touchpoints available and a non-stop assault on our senses possible unless you actively switch off, getting your messaging clear and cohesive is vital. Ours is this: simply gorgeous, quality jewellery and accessories at reasonable prices.

Become a stockist

We supply retailers of all types throughout the UK, from gift shops and clothing boutiques to garden centres, visitor attractions and department stores. If you would like to join them, you can register on the website, call us or email. We always ask three questions:

  1. What kind of business are you?
  2. Where is your business located?
  3. How did you hear about Miss Milly?

And then we check your postcode to ensure we don’t already supply somebody close by. Exclusivity is a nightmare for retailers and suppliers alike, and whilst we employ a roughly three-mile radius, dependent on the location, we also apply sound business sense based on order history and value.

The creation of Miss Milly

Established by Sarah Watmore in 2012, Miss Milly was born out of a previous retail and wholesale business in the same industry. That company reached the point of a natural split and Sarah took the wholesale side, rebranded and has never looked back. The Miss Milly name popped into her head a few years earlier when playfully scolding her daughter, Milly, for splashing in the bath and was also the pet name of her grandmother, Millicent. It’s feminine, British and friendly, very much linked to the ethos of the brand.
